THRIVE NOW PRODUCTIONS

A non-profit, volunteer drama production ministry working to support the churches of the Koinonia of Pennsylvania Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ.

 

Our Prelate is Bishop Ernest Morris Sr.  As the name “Koinonia” suggests, we are a Christian fellowship of churches believing in joint participation, fellowship and unity that is so necessary in this time of world change.

 

The churches of the Koinonia Jurisdiction provide community services such as: food cupboards, shelter, drug rehabilitation referrals, activities for children and teens, prison visitation etc.  Monies raised from this production will support these efforts.

THRIVENOW PRODUCTIONS, formally under the Mt. Airy Church of God In Christ Drama Ministry has produced several successful dramatic creations over the past 30 years reaching audiences including congregants, community members, and friends estimated in excess of 10,000 attendees.

Bend Don’t Break      Preformed at the Merriam Theatre and Martin Luther King High School

Passion Play(s)           Keswick Theatre and Mt. Airy Church of God in Christ

Attendees of our productions have communicated a high level of enjoyment of the Passion Play productions featuring both local and non-local talent including gospel and secular artists such as; Jean Carne, Harold Melvin and the Blue notes, The Williams Brothers, Rev. Richard White “Clean”, Brian Courtney Wilson, Ava Williams, and Tamika Patton.
